1982-1986 studied artistic photography at the Faculty of Film and Television of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU); 1989 co-founder of the Prague House of Photography (PHP); 2005-2007 Head of the Photo Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). Since 1990 well over twenty solo exhibitions around the world; works held in numerous museums and galleries including the National Gallery Prague, the Victoria & Albert Museum London, Musée de l'Elysée Lausanne, Maison européenne de la photographie, Paris, The Dali Photography Museum, Dali (China), Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. One of the most important contemporary fine art photographers.
