2007-2013 studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Prague (AVU) under Vladimir Skrepl and Ladislav Šaloun; 2010 Critics’ Prize for Young Painting; 2012 awarded the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize; since 2008 over 45 solo exhibitions in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, and Italy; works held in many public and private contemporary art collections (National Gallery and Kunsthalle Prague, in Berlin, Boston, Buenos Aires, Hamburg, Prague, Torino, Vincenza, Washington, etc.). One of the most important Czech painters of the middle generation; combines painting and photography in a collage-like manner; creative focus, among other things, on formally abstract, geometric compositions in combination with faces, masks, and heads.
