This wool veil was made by a woman from the Feija community around 1920 in Afouzar. It displays all the characteristic elements of textiles with henna decoration: cotton, words in the Tifinagh script, and tassels on the edges of the textile. The henna painting covers nearly half of the scarf and represents a fertile field. The depiction of eight threshing poles, to which donkeys were tied, clearly indicates the period between April and May, during which the wedding took place.
