Hans Meyer – measured power

Please find more information below the image.

As a well-connected wealthy heir of a Leipzig publishing house, Hans Meyer contributed significantly to the museum's growth in many different ways.

He provided the museum with extensive collections, including 56 objects from Ecuador, Tanzania, the Philippines, Japan, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the Solomon Islands, on display in the large vitrine. As a collector and patron, he left these objects to the museum.
