Having reached the end of this tour, we would like to illustrate with the help of a small "show depot" that neo-classicism as a form-giving and aesthetic basis for design did not come to an abrupt end. Explore the traces of an art-historical epoch that has had a lasting influence on design. To this day, there are numerous examples of applied art, architecture and design that pick up on the formal language and design features of neo-classicism and develop them individually. On display are changing exhibits by important designers of the last two centuries from the collection of the Kunstgewerbemuseum.
