One of the most prominent and internationally acclaimed Czech artists of the middle generation; his visually complex, dense, and darkly surreal works tell fragmented stories with subtle allusions to classical films and works of art. The figures, both concealed and revealed by the surreal architectural structures, remain isolated and heighten the sense of mystery.
