The Corner State Room is the first of the five state rooms that have been faithfully reconstructed. It, too, had been completely destroyed during the bombing raids in the Second World War, leaving just a few ruined walls.
Now it shines in new splendour and marks the real beginning of the State Apartment – with its sumptuous wall coverings, its artistically designed furniture and the imposing architecture of the interiors.
In the Corner State Room, the audio tour consists of chapters 621 to 627, which provide more detailed information about the history of the State Apartment, its significance, its origins and the restoration.
