Riesensaal
Welcome to the world of tournaments and knights high up on horseback. Inside the newly built Riesensaal, you can experience the spell of the knights’ games at the Electoral Saxon court in Dresden through the interplay of various suits of armour, tournament weaponry, and life-sized horse sculptures. The highlight of the tour is the magnificent “Herkulesharnisch”, which King Erik XIV of Sweden commissioned, when he asked for Queen Elizabeth I of England’s hand in marriage.
